Regular events take place as follows:

Friends Work Parties – these are held monthly. Please see our volunteering page or contact us for further information if you would like to join our friendly group!

Busy Bees – a social “knit and natter” group that meets Wednesdays from 1- 3 pm. It costs £1 which includes a drink. People bring their own crafts to share and the group includes knitters, crocheters, sewers, paper crafters and sketchers. Most are willing to share their expertise and many of the group donate some of their work to the two craft shows held each year. These goods are sold and any surplus money is donated to the Friends of Oakwell Hall.

Health Walks – Every Tuesday, 1:30 pm Meet in the Visitor Centre Courtyard: a gentle walk around the park, lasting no longer than one hour. No booking required
