Whilst many people join the Friends simply because they appreciate the beauty and tranquillity of the Hall and Park, others join because of the 'hands on' opportunities available on site. Friends work closely with the dedicated staff at Oakwell and provide assistance both inside and outside the Hall.

The diversity of tasks ensures there is something for everyone - from guiding in the Hall to de-sludging the duck pond! Membership also offers a variety of benefits such as
